Tasks interns should expect to learn about and undertake would include:- ?You will learn how to maintain our client`s social media brand pages and proactively explore ways of connecting with existing and potential customers online through social networks. ?How to perform effective research on the competition`s strategies and how to construct digital promotional material. ?You will learn about spreadsheet management, database maintenance, filing, cash handling, banking and how to compile daily and weekly sales reports. ?Your internship will involve procurement, and learning how to carry out ad-hoc acquisitions of equipment for the office, kitchen, markets and potential new shop. You will research and negotiate with suppliers to maintain high quality products as well as the lowest possible prices for these products. The most suitable intern for this position would have the following:- ?You should be a graduate from any discipline. ?You should be a flexible and proactive individual, able to work independently and fast to achieve group results. ?You should have previous experience, either before or during university, of handling cash in a customer service based hospitality role. ?Some knowledge of SAGE payroll and/or invoicing would be advantageous but not essential.
