Working within the Commercial Team you will be expected to grow and maintain the developing Marine Trade account. Responsibilities Responsible for providing specialist marine and commercial combined policies for the UK marine trade Focus on writing non-marine risks for pleasure craft clients Draw upon considerable underwriting knowledge and expertise to underwrite the property class of business Work closely with marine underwriters to jointly support commercial propositions Assist with developing colleagues by acting as a referral point and by delivering training Skills Proven experience within a commercial underwriting capacity at a corporate or SME level Strong property line of business exposure Previous exposure underwriting industrial/manufacturing commercial property risks would be advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a varied workload |
