| Pontypool Part time Accounts Manager required - 3 to 4 days a week £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata`d) Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day operational activities in Finance, and Administration. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: ? Responsible for providing efficient, timely and accurate financial services ? Manage and maintain Sage accounting system. ? Bank reconciliation ? Manage and reconcile petty cash ? Establish focused and productive communication with creditors and debtors, on-site and remote staff, customers and suppliers. ? Manage sales ledger and debtor collections ? Manage purchase ledger and creditor payments ? Accurately produces weekly and monthly reports on cash flow, profit & loss, aged debtors and creditors to senior management team and board of directors ? Manage monthly staff payroll payments. ? Monitor and report problems by liaising with other staff and the Board of Directors ? Controls costs to meet budget guidelines. ? Monitor compliance with administrative procedures in Transport, HR, IT, HP and Insurance. ? Undertake adhoc project work as and when required ? Co-ordinates the activities of remote and on-site staff to provide a balance across departments. ? Ensures that high standards of internal controls are maintained in relation to company policies, procedures and processes ? Adheres to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes, ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the business. ? Contribute towards the smooth running and continuous improvement of the organisation as a whole. Knowledge, Skills & Experience ? Excellent working knowledge of SAGE Accounting system (Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2011 vers 17) ? Knowledge of modern office procedures and processes. ? Microsoft Office Package including Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint. ? Literacy and Numeracy Skills ? Customer Service Skills ? Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations ? Polite and Persuasive Communication Skills ? Problem solving ? Planning skills, ability to meet deadlines ? Organised, methodical and efficient - pays attention to detail, self starter, complete finisher ? Flexible |
