A vacancy has arisen with a small concern located in the RCT area. This is a family-run business that have a superb reputation within their field. My client requires an experienced Book Keeper for a potential temporary to permanent role. As my client is ultimately looking to take a step back and work on a part-time capacity, they require an experienced full-time Book Keeper to deal with all accounts preparation to trial balance stage. You will be required to ensure the accounts are in full working order and ready for the external accountants on a monthly basis. The role requires a hands-on candidate that can come in and hit the ground running. Key responsibilities will include: 1) All purchase/sales ledger processing 2) Running a small payroll from complete start to finish - dealing with all associated queries, P45`s, P46`s, SSP, SMP and payroll year end 3) VAT returns 4) Accounts preparation
Ideally you will be Qualified By Experience or studying towards your AAT professional qualification.
