| Financial Accounting Manager required Outskirts of Cardiff The Accounting Manager`s main responsibilities will include the following: ? Statutory Accounts ? Month end management reconciliations ? Daily bank reconciliations ? Monthly/quarterly/annual reports ? Vat returns ? Open items reports ? Daily payments to manufacturers ? Accounts payable activity ? Assistance with special projects ? Liaison with FP&A, IO accounting and tax teams ? Liaison with operational departments ? Resolution of queries on a timely basis ? Assistance with special projects These responsibilities may be extended to cover other entities as the need arises. Month end ? Completion of month end processes with review for completeness and accuracy ? month end reconciliations for management review ? Prepare and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports ? open items reports ? Month end journals Monthly reports ? All reporting for US and regulatory (local/International) matters Annual Tasks: ? Preparation of statutory accounts ? Supplying external auditors information to enable timely submission of statutory accounts Managing People ? Remote oversight of Finance team ? Completion of PMP, PDP and succession planning reviews ? To cascade best practice principles from Global Finance Staff Engagement Task Force Essential Skills or Requirements ? Professional accountancy qualification ? Relevant experience in finance ? Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office Software Preferred Skills or Requirements: ? Experience in using SAP or similar system ? Experience of accounting and regulatory environment |
